The Antwerp Diamond Hotel (refurbished to Eco Hotel Diamond Antwerp in January 2013) is one of the more contemporary places for lodging in the city, offering 60 rooms. The higher levels of the hotel give you a wonderful view of Antwerp. You can enjoy that view while sipping on fine wine or Belgian beer. We recommend beer, since you are in Belgium and that's the national beverage.
Eco Hotel Diamond Antwerp can also be appreciated for free wifi and cable.

Rooms have some problems with humidity and wi-fi connectivity. However, being only two stops away from central station certainly makes getting around the city very easy. The food is average, pricing is fair, and beds are comfortable, but cleanliness sometimes falls thru the cracks, parking can be difficult and helpful staff is sometimes in short supply.
All in all the minor problems with the hotel may be outweighed by the location and pricing compared to some others in the area. This is particularly true if you plan on doing a lot of sight-seeing on foot. Most give the hotel 3.5 stars out of 5.
