Belgium Currency

Euro Design
Each bank note is a different color and the coins have differing sizes. Unlike banknotes, which are the same in all euro-area countries, the coins have one common side and one country-specific side. Each of the euro-area countries designed the ‘national sides’ of their coins with familiar or traditional motifs and icons.

Antwerp's climate is maritime and usually mild. Flanders is on the same latitude as southern England, so the climate is comparable.

There is more than one Antwerp Tourism Office within Antwerp. The one on the Grote Markt is especially useful. It is Antwerp's main tourist information centre (Stadtladen). There you can get an excellent and free city map, brochures and additional information.

Pharmacy
Drugs (including non-prescription) are sold only at pharmacies. Pharmacies/Apotheeks are marked by a green cross (which lights up when it's open).

Usually open 9 am - 6 pm Monday to Friday and 9.30 am - 3 pm on Saturday.

There are always some Pharmacies open on Sundays. This happens on rotating basis - most pharmacies will display a list of the ones open the current Sunday.
Be aware that you will be charged a few euros extra for buying your aspirin, band-aids and the like on a Sunday.
